Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

At Noa Clinic, we are committed to delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care. This FAQ section provides important information about our treatments, appointment policies, medical requirements, and skincare products, in line with clinical governance and CQC standards. We encourage all patients to review this information prior to attending their appointment.

Noa Clinic offers a wide range of services including aesthetics, beauty treatments, medical and pharmacy services, weight‑loss programmes, dental care, professional skincare, and mentoring for aesthetics practitioners.

We are located on the upper floor at 93 Station Road, Llandaff, Cardiff, CF14 2FD. Our sister pharmacy operates on the ground floor of the same building.

Yes. All treatments and consultations are by appointment only. Appointments can be booked online or by contacting the clinic directly.

For health, safety, and insurance reasons, children are not permitted to accompany patients into the clinic or wait during appointments.

Many of our treatments involve medical equipment and require a calm clinical environment. We kindly ask clients to make alternative childcare arrangements before attending. If you believe you have special circumstances, please contact the clinic in advance.

Yes. For your safety, all patients must provide a current and accurate medical history, including details of any medications, supplements, allergies, or existing medical conditions.

If a full medical history is not provided — or if certain conditions or medications are identified — we may not be able to proceed with treatment on the day. This decision is made in the interest of patient safety and in line with clinical guidelines.

We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of appointments.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend without notice (DNA), may result in:

  • Loss of deposit
  • A cancellation fee
  • Full charge of the appointment

This applies regardless of reason, unless exceptional circumstances are agreed at the clinic’s discretion.

If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened or cancelled if there is insufficient time to complete treatment safely. In such cases, the appointment may still be chargeable.

Yes. Noa Clinic reserves the right to cancel or postpone appointments where:

  • A full medical history has not been provided
  • A client is unwell or unsuitable for treatment
  • Clinical safety cannot be assured
  • Treatment is not considered in the patient’s best interest

Yes. A consultation is required prior to all aesthetic, injectable, skin, and weight‑loss treatments to assess suitability and create a personalised treatment plan.

All treatments are carried out by qualified and experienced clinicians. Safety is our priority, and treatments are only performed following a consultation and medical assessment.

We offer personalised weight‑loss programmes, which may include prescription‑only injectable treatments alongside lifestyle advice and clinical monitoring.

Eligibility is determined following a medical consultation and is based on factors such as BMI, medical history, and current medications.

Our on‑site pharmacy provides a range of services including vaccinations, vitamin injections, minor illness support, and confidential health advice.

Some pharmacy services require a brief consultation to ensure suitability and safe treatment.

We provide a range of beauty and wellbeing treatments including massage therapy, nail services, waxing, and relaxation treatments.

Yes. We stock a range of professional and medical‑grade skincare products, including Obagi Medical.

No. All skincare products sold are new, unused, and supplied in sealed packaging. Tester or demonstration products used within the clinic are clearly identified and are not sold.

Due to hygiene and infection‑control regulations, opened or used skincare products cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged, unless the product is proven to be faulty.

A professional skin consultation is strongly recommended before starting Obagi Medical skincare. Some products are prescription‑only and require a clinical assessment.

Clients are responsible for reviewing product ingredients and disclosing any known allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to purchase or use.

While our clinicians may provide guidance, Noa Clinic cannot be held responsible for allergic or adverse reactions where allergies were not disclosed, ingredients were not reviewed, or products were used contrary to advice.

Yes. We offer one‑to‑one mentoring and observation sessions for qualified aesthetics practitioners looking to enhance their skills and confidence.
